Product Questions
- Absolutely! One of the improvements that we made with our newest design is that knee pads can be machine washed and dried. Leading competitors pads tend to fall apart in the washing machine, but our high quality SBR foam pad and surge stitching can easily handle washing and drying cycles. We know that a hard working athlete equals sweaty, stinky equipment that needs to be washed frequently. So whether you are playing basketball, football, lacrosse, wrestling, etc. Wash away! No need to fear damaging your athletic knee pad.
- Buying online can be stressful when you don’t know what size will fit. We have helped ease that worry by creating a detailed size chart (click here to view). Our size chart is broken down by measurements and weight. Our pads almost always fit athletes who fit inside the weight range guide, very tall or very short athletes are the rare exceptions. Take your measurements, check the weight guide, and you are almost guaranteed to get a pad that will fit well and be comfortable. We do recommend sizing up if you are on the upper level of the weight range.
- This topic goes right along with picking the correct size. If your sleeve is too tight or too small the specialized rubber strips at the top of the leg band are not able to properly grip your skin and stay in place. This causes the sleeve to slip down during athletic activities. If you are on the top end of a specific size on our chart we recommend sizing up so make sure the pad will fit your thigh well. - We have athletes from many different sports purchase our products. Basketball, wrestling, football, lacrosse, volleyball, and baseball are frequent Cumulus shoppers. Just to name a few. Our products are great for any activities that require extra protection and improved performance.
- As many of our customers know, hex knee pads fall apart. That is why we developed our one-piece knee pad made of high quality SBR foam. SBR foam is synthetically created to mimic natural rubber. It provides enhanced elasticity and durability. SBR foam is extremely resilient, flexible, abrasion resistant, and shock absorbent.
- No. We use high quality ink sublimation to heat transfer your custom design into our Cumulus knee pads. Because of the specialized fabric blend that we use for our sleeves your image will stay bright and crisp even through extended use and wash.
Customer Service Questions
- Custom orders typically take 4-7 business days to be processed and shipped out. Blank products typically process and ship within 1-2 business days. You can usually expect your custom product to arrive within 7-10 days of placing your order, and 4-6 days for any blank products. Why so long? The majority of our orders are custom designs that we have to individually make for you. Unlike items ready to ship, our design team has to review your image, makes color and quality corrections if needed, and then create your one of a kind product. We always send out shipping information as soon as the product is prepared to be mailed. If you have a special event or deadline you need met please feel free to email our customer service team. We cannot guarantee arrival for that date, but sometimes we are able to accommodate and help you out. You can reach us at contact@cumulussport.com
- We have customer service employees working Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5 pm. If you email within that time frame you should receive a response within 24 hours, but typically faster. If you contact us on the weekends we usually get back to you, but the response time will be a bit slower.
- When you go to place your order you will note a box you can enter notes. If there is a color change, custom name, or change that you would like to make you can enter that info there. We are not always able to accommodate requests, but often times are design team can make those changes for you. By leaving a note for us we can contact you and help you get your ideal athletic knee pad or arm sleeve.
- Non-custom items can be returned for a refund as long as the sleeve is not visibly worn, dirty, or damaged, and are still in the original packaging. Once an item has been used the sale is final.
- All custom orders are final and can not be returned. Please use the digital proof in the customizer when designing your sleeve to ensure it is created how you desire.
- If you have any issues with your purchase please feel free to contact us at contact@cumulussport.com and our customer service team will get you taken care of.
- We guarantee every knee pad we make. If the actual knee pad on your Cumulus Sport item tears, falls apart, or develops a hole within one calendar year of purchase we will replace the product. Shipping costs will be paid by the customer. Wear and tear outside of intended use will null and void the warranty. Intended use includes athletic practices/competitions on approved sports surfaces (courts, grass/turf fields, mats) Photos must be sent to Cumulus Sport customer service for warranty approval before new products will be shipped. Cumulus Sport reserves the right to deny product replacement if we believe damage to a product was outside of intended use or intentional to receive free product.
Miscellaneous Questions
- Yes, we do. We have outfitted many teams across the country and even internationally. In order to receive a bulk or team discount the order must be 10 or more items. If your team is planning on placing an order reach out to our customer service team so we can help you get a unique coupon code. The discount rate for bulk orders goes as follows:
- 10-19+ items = 10%
- 20-49 items = 15%
- 50+ items = 18%
